A senior operational role within clinical operations! A leading global drug development company is looking for a talented project manager with international experience to take charge of large, high profile global studies in the CNS, oncology and anti-infective therapy areas. You will have leadership responsibility for a cross functional team based across Western, Central and Eastern Europe, Asia Pacific and all other areas outside the US. Project management will be operational in nature and you will have full financial accountability for budgets and timelines. Extensive international project management experience is essential for this position.
An exciting project leadership role with staff management responsibility! This position is available with a well respected medium sized CRO specialising in oncology, anti-infective and CNS research. The role is office based in Buckinghamshire although 30% travel within the UK and Europe will be required. As Project Manager you will manage cross-functional European studies across phases II-IV of development, leading the project team to ensure on-time, on-budget performance. You will also supervise, train and mentor clinical research staff with a view to taking on line management responsibility. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the expansion of the clinical team within Europe! All you need to qualify for this position is a BSc or nursing qualification and six years' clinical research experience - at least two years of which must have been spent in a project management role. CRO experience is ESSENTIAL. Knowledge of the oncology, CNS or anti-infective therapy areas would be an advantage.
A well established CRO, with an excellent reputation and the best training programme in the industry, has a requirement for an experienced Project Leader to join the clinical team based in the Home Counties. This is an office based position although there will be the opportunity to work from home 1-2 days a week after the initial training period. You will form part of a regional project management team assigned to either a) manage a local project (UK plus 1-2 other European countries) OR b) take responsibility for several 'regions' participating in global/international projects. Accountabilities will include: budget/financial management, client management, team leadership and total responsibility for the delivery of the project. To be considered you must have at least 18 months' experience in a project management role, preferably within the CRO environment. A life science degree is essential.
