PROJECT DIRECTOR

Utilise your global project management experience in a strategic, high profile role! A leading provider of drug development services has an exciting senior level position available within the international operations group. Applications are invited from senior project managers with global trial management experience across a number of projects gained within the contract services environment. You will act as global lead on assigned studies - typically conducted in 20-25 countries with a budget of $30 million - and will manage a cross functional project team. This is an office based role although you must be prepared to travel 10-15% of the time. As Project Director you will spend 30% of your time working on the project with the remainder involved in strategic activities. You will also be heavily involved in business development - utilising your operational expertise to support the BD team. To be considered for this position you will be educated to degree level and have worked within clinical development for at least ten years - with five years' involvement in global trial management. SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER/PROJECT DIRECTOR

Take charge of your career by taking the opportunity to explore senior operational management roles with one of the world's largest CRO's! This role is as strategic as it is operational, and you will lead global cross functional teams to deliver high quality data from phase II-IV development programmes to assigned clients. You will act as a clinical development consultant to a portfolio of clients advising on project strategy, and will also act as the main point of contact during the duration of assigned projects. At this level you will also support the business development group as technical advisor, helping to secure new and repeat business through the delivery of technical presentations and bid defence. Depending upon experience you will have some input into the scope of your role and this is a rare and exciting opportunity to exert some control over your career development!
