PROPOSALS MANAGER
Our client, a market leading global CRO with an excellent reputation within the industry has an exciting opening for an experienced Proposals Manager to move into a European rôle. Initially you will handle all RFPs for local UK projects but the rôle will develop further to include proposals management within Europe and bringing together international bids. You will manage a small team of proposal analysts and will be responsible for optimising the transformation of bids into contracts alongside the business development and contracts groups. As Proposals Manager you will work alongside a multi-disciplinary group to calculate and finalise study budgets, track the status of contracts/bids, negotiate final contracts and monitor the whole process until the project is won! The successful candidate will have three years experience in proposals development OR relevant experience within clinical research and two years proposals experience. Previous people management experience is not essential although desirable. PROPOSAL DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR
An international directorship within proposals development! Our client, an international drug development company with a reputation for excellence, has created a new rôle within global business development involving line and departmental management. Reporting to the VP of Global Proposal Development based in the US you will develop and implement strategies to facilitate project management of the proposals process alongside Account Directors to nuture repeat business from cornerstone accounts across Europe. As this is a new rôle you will have the opportunity to make it what you wish and this is an exciting opportunity to have input into the direction of the proposals group during a period of growth and expansion. A competitive remuneration package is on offer including relocation assistance, pension, private health, life assurance, company car/allowance and 25 days holiday. Applicants must have at least five years' proposal development experience and previous involvement with departmental/line management. A degree is essential as is knowledge of the clinical trials process. You will be a dynamic and motivated individual with strong leadership and negotiating skills.
 
BUSINESS ASSOCIATE - PROPOSALS
Develop your business skills within proposal development! Due to recent expansion this medium sized CRO based in Buckinghamshire is looking to recruit an additional Business Associate into the proposals and contracts group. This is not a direct sales role and your main function will be to support the business developers by managing the proposal development process on assigned bids. This will involve tracking the progress of ongoing bids focusing on proposals, budgets, project costs/analyses and contracts and updating the business development database with any changes. You will also support client service and marketing activties by attending trade shows and co-ordinating mailings etc. A competitive salary and benefits package are available including pension, healthcare, life assurance, 25 days holiday and company bonus.

Our client is looking for a team player with an interest in business processes and clinical development. To be considered for this position you must be educated to degree level in a science or business discipline and have worked within the clinical trials environment in a similar role. You must be prepared to travel approximately 10% of the time within the UK/Europe.
